Amidst the rigor of B-school life, ‘Aarogya’ sought to be a convenient way to take stock of one’s health. A health camp organized by the Social Service Group (SSG) of IIM Kozhikode on 4th November, Aarogya 2012 was a grand success.
With the objective of providing in-house health checkups to the IIMK Community, the health camp drew participation from over 225 faculty, teaching assistants, students, administrative and support staff. In-line with SSG’s objective of giving back to the community, 111 support staff were provided free health checkups.
The IIMK community could choose between a basic health package and an array of specialized checks, both at subsidized prices. The camp was conducted in association with Dr. Mammi’s Laboratory & Research Institute and Vasan Eye care.
The Social Service Group strives to continue its efforts in promoting a ‘healthy’ campus in the future.
